Corridor safety work in the United States is funded through recurring federal and state programs whose eligible applicants are usually state DOTs, MPOs, local governments, and Tribes — not vendors. Ætheris positions its work to support eligible applicants on those pathways, and pursues small-business research funding directly.

NSF SBIR / STTR (America's Seed Fund)
Non-dilutive research and development funding for deep-technology small businesses. The current solicitation lists Phase I up to $305,000 and Phase II up to $1,250,000, with full-proposal dates of July 27, 2026 and November 4, 2026.

Insurance risk-reduction partnerships
Wildlife-vehicle collisions alone carry over $10 billion in annual societal cost (FHWA/USDOT figures). Insurers and risk partners with rural corridor exposure are a natural non-grant funding conversation for corridor risk intelligence.
