WATCHTOWER
The operating system of the Ætheris ecosystem. Watchtower turns video, documents, and field data into timestamped, auditable evidence, and runs the local-first automation and operational command behind the company. Local processing, traceable logic, a human in the loop.
What it does now
Shipping capabilities
Evidence engine
Video and documents become transcripts, frames, and timestamped findings you can audit line by line.
Local-first ingestion
Capture and analysis run on local infrastructure — event-based, with no usage-metered cloud calls.
Operational command
Finance, readiness telemetry, and workflow oversight in one governed console.
Notification center
A site-wide issues and alerts view with severity, one-click actions, and self-refresh.
Source linking
Every finding links back to the exact source and timestamp it came from.
Reporting & export
Structured reports and exports for review, hand-off, and record-keeping.
What it could do
Exploratory · on the roadmap, not yet shipped
These are directions we are actively exploring. They are described here as intent, not as current features.
Scheduled monitoring
Standing watches that summarize new activity and surface what changed.
Broader connectors
Additional governed, opt-in data sources for evidence and operations.
Corridor evidence link
A path to connect field corridor data into the same auditable evidence model.
Protections
Security, privacy, and access
Privacy by design
Raw data is processed locally by default; only confirmed events and findings move. No surveillance.
Hardened against prompt injection
Untrusted content is fenced and scanned, and AI output is sanitized, following the OWASP LLM Top-10 risk model.
Secret detection & redaction
Sensitive values are detected and redacted before they can be logged or surfaced.
Action-tier gating
Consequential actions are gated and require confirmation; nothing is auto-deleted or overwritten.
Layered access control
Username and password, app-based two-factor, and optional hardware-key / Windows Hello sign-in.
Closed network surface
The console binds to the local loopback interface, keeping its surface off the open network.
Watchtower is an internal operating platform; access is restricted and not publicly available.
One shared spine
The principles every Ætheris system inherits
Privacy by design
Raw data stays local; only events and findings move.
Event-based
Systems act on confirmed events, not continuous monitoring.
Traceable logic
Every output links back to the evidence behind it.
Human in the loop
People stay in control of every consequential decision.
